“It’s hard to define what my bread is, because it’s “my” bread!”

“I made so much that I overstuffed my family, so why don’t sell them instead?”
Many businesses went online in order to survive during the MCO period and half of them were food, especially cakes and desserts. A young lady saw the chance and started selling bread online! “I started around July”, said Lin, the owner who began baking as she was too bored at home.
Lin stated that online selling isn’t difficult but coming up with a nice name is. “I wanted the name to revolve around [bun]” and with the help of her sister, “Son of A Bun” was born.
“I honestly never thought my bread would be such a hit, probably because I never cut corners.”
“I sell my bread on IG, so order yours there!”
What bread is Lin selling? “I don’t actually know what to call it either, it’s something I came up with myself with inspiration from Swedish cardamom buns.” (TMI: Swedish cardamom buns are a cross between a cinnamon roll and pull-apart bread, often perfumed with southern Indian spice!) Lin once considered selling traditional cardamom buns, but worried that it’s not easily accepted for its unique texture. She then improvised the recipe to suit Malaysian’s taste. She mainly focuses on cinnamon buns but soon came out with matcha and chocolate ones for more variaties. Lin promises that she only uses premium ingredients so everyone can enjoy them at ease.
Although Lin may temporarily focus on her studies, Although Lin may temporarily put baking on hold / stop baking to focus on her studies, she promised to come back once everything is settled down!
